hosting prices are determined from our carefully structured network.
Some hosts are able to provide cheaper services on cheaper, less
reliable, less secure equipment, however we have not compromised on
the stability of our network.
We have backup servers, redundant network connectivity, power
generators, technical staff, business affiliations with industry
players, domain names, secure certificates and a whole lot more.
This combination of elements positions us in a very secure and safe
business environment to ensure our business continues to run
successfully, long after the cheaper web hosts have fallen over and
disappear.
Naturally,
you wouldn't want to trust your website to an unsecured and unreliable
web host!

What is the
minimum payment cycle?
|
The minimum payment cycle is 3 months. You can also pay every
6 months or 12 months.

Using your credit card online is safe! We use a 128bit
encrypted secure server connection through to our payment gateway. We
accept major credit cards including
Visa, MasterCard, American Express (AMEX) and Diners
Club.
Offline

We can send you a form and you can fax
us your order request with your credit card details.
- Cheque or Money
Order
You can send us a cheque made out to our

Do
you offer any discounts if I pay yearly? |
To encourage you to host with us
for a longer period, we offer discounts for customers signing
up on a yearly payment cycle. The discount is worth 2 months
free!

| HOSTING PLANS |
| If
I want to upgrade my hosting plan to the next plan, will I incur extra fees? |
If
/ when you upgrade to a different hosting account, we simply
perform an account adjustment to allow for future billing to
reflect your new hosting account charges. All our plans, whether new or modified, includes free
setup.

When can I expect my new hosting account to be ready?
|
Typically we
set up new hosting accounts on the same day as ordering. Upon activation,
we will email you all the necessary information to ensure your
initial webpage and email setup are fast moving and trouble free.
It can
take upto 48 hours for your domain to fully 'point' to our
server,
however in the interim you have full server access to upload
your site and customise all required settings.

you provide website statistics? |
All our hosting customers receive
the 'Webalizer' statistics package for free. The Webalizer tool displays
constantly updated data, logging visitors, what they are looking at, when
they are visiting, where they came from and much more.

How
often do you backup data on your servers?
|
Using the latest 'hot backup' technology, we
perform daily AND weekly backups to ensure maximum protection of your
data and website. There is no server downtime during
this process!

| Can
I host any type of website I choose on your servers? |
You
are prohibited from storing, distributing or transmitting any
unlawful material. Examples of unlawful
material include, but are not limited to, threats of physical
harm, child pornography, and copyrighted, trademarked and
other proprietary material used without proper authorization.
Pornography and sex-related merchandising, or links to such
material, even if legal, are not acceptable uses of Value
Hosting
Australia's servers. For more information please refer to our

| Do
you have an anti spamming policy? |
Yes. We treat all matters relating to spam and spamming
extremely seriously. This is to ensure mail server stability
and to prevent our servers from being blacklisted. More information can be
found be reading our
Acceptable Use Policy and
Privacy Policy.
Please note that Matt's Formmail script is banned on our
server. This script can easily be exploited by spammers, and
will be removed from your account if found.

| Can I transfer my existing site to your
servers? |
If you are currently hosted by another
company and wish to move your site to our servers, this process does not incur
any additional fees and we will assist you in the process.

| Are your support areas hard to follow
or understand? |
We try to make it as clear as possible,
however, if you get confused, this is understandable,
particularly if you are starting out. If this
happens please
don't hesitate to contact us so we can assist
further.

| Will I get quick responses to my
requests? |
We aim to respond to email requests as
soon as we receive them, but usually within 4
hours.
|
| What
is the setup/ordering process? |
|
1) Select a hosting plan that suits
you; 2) Choosing a preferred payment option; 3)
Registering domain if required; 4) Signing up via our
online or offline forms.
Accounts are setup the same
day of payment being received. You are then ready to upload and use your
hosting account.
Domain delegation (when
your domain is actually visible in the browser) can
take upto 48 hours, subject to the time it takes for worldwide
internet routers
and registers to update.

| Am I getting value for
money? |

Yes, we can. Our servers are flexible to
host all varying types of domains from around the
world.

| Do
you provide internet dialup access? |
No
we don't. If you require internet access, please find a local
provider in your area.

Do
you register domains?
|
We
certainly do. We can register all top level (.com/.net etc) and

| Can
you design my website? |
Yes,
Please contact us and we will organise a web designer to discuss
your requirements. We can offer affordable web design and
hosting packages.

| TECHNICAL QUESTIONS |
| Do
you support Java Servelets? |
We do not support JAVA
Servelets, JSP and J2EE because we are not running JAVA
Servers. Simply, JAVA Servelets, JSP and J2EE run all of their
processes on the server and then push the results to the user.
As such, they require server side software to be running as a
daemon to do the work.
However; we do allow JAVA, Jscript, J++ and JAVA Applets. Why?
Because all of these run their processes on the user side.

you support ASP and MS Access Databases? |
Yes, we now host Windows servers that support ASP, MS Access and lots of other features.

The company directors have extensive experience in business

2002, the company had developed more knowledge skills and
expertise in hosting services. Multimedia Entertainment made a
decision to set up an exclusive hosting division and strive to make its
hosting services and domain registration more value for money. It was
through this natural business progression that Value

Australia was formed. We are not here to make a

but rather for the long haul and grow with the industry and our
